Royal Mail new, barcoded 1st and 2nd Class stamps
Some of you may already be aware that Royal Mail have recently introduced new everyday stamps which include barcodes. When using the new stamps, it’s important to ensure that the barcode remains attached so that the stamp is valid.
While normal, non-barcoded 1st and 2nd Class stamps will continue to be sold until 31st January 2023, the new stamps will soon replace these and customers are encouraged to use their normal stamps ahead of this time.
If you are concerned about using up your normal stamps ahead of this time, you can exchange non-barcoded stamps using Royal Mail’s Swap Out Scheme. You can find more information and a form to complete the process from Galmpton Post Office, but please note we are not able to exchange stamps instore.
For more information or any questions, pop into the shop, give us a call on 01803 842148 or email galleonstores1993@gmail.com.

The scheme will be available through Galleon Stores and Post Office. Please get in touch with us or give us a call on 01803 842148 for more information.
