Our local honey range in the shop is growing – we now have small and larger jars of local honey from just down the road in Galmpton and Dartington.
John’s Lovely Bees 100% Pure Honey from Dartington is available in a 454g jar and Hoodown Farm’s Pure Devon Honey from Galmpton is available in a 198g jar.
We continue to stock individual rolls of Bazoo’s 100% Bamboo toilet paper. The double-length, 300 sheet, 3-ply rolls come in 100% recycled packaging and provide a cheaper cost per sheet than leading brands.

An update from the Market Stall – April/May 2022
Our current ‘best in season’ recommendation goes to new-in English asparagus, alongside Cornish New Potatoes which have now reduced in price as there is a more plentiful supply.
Cornish cauliflowers are also still available, and King Edward and Maris Piper potatoes are now back in stock. Other Devon produce includes parsnips, swede and celeriac.
From further afield, English broad beans are now available.
Cabbage varieties are currently very limited and pricey, so customers’ best buy at the moment is spring greens.
There is a limited supply of salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and peppers) in the market currently due to various factors, but prices will be coming down as supplies increase from homegrown (UK) and Dutch produce over the coming weeks.
Local rhubarb is now in with Cape and New Zealand apples arriving shortly – currently apple varieties are still limited to Gala, Braeburn and Bramley.
Soft fruit including raspberries, blueberries and strawberries are now in stock at reducing prices.
