Now stocking: Peat Free Compost
Last month, we shared a post to let our customers know that they would soon be able to purchase Peat Free Compost from Galleon Stores.
This month we can share that we are now stocking varieties of Peat Free Wool Compost from Dalefoot Composts, costing £7.99 per 30L bag.
Made from a blend of sheep’s wool and bracken, the compost is made wholly in the UK and is a ‘professional growing medium with consistent performance and reliable results’.

Free From range including Foxcombe Bakehouse, Eat Real and more…
Our Free From range instore has grown; we’re now stocking a range of sweet treats and savoury snacks from the likes of Vegan Bakery, Eat Real and Foxcombe Bakehouse. The products are free from gluten, dairy and/or are vegan.
Even better, South West based company Foxcombe Bakehouse package their products plastic free. Their ‘EcoBags’ are produced from natural renewable resources, and are both compostable and biodegradable. All boards are fully recyclable.
Now stocking: Flavoured milk in recyclable glass bottles
If you’ve been in store recently, you might have spotted we are now stocking flavoured milk from Delamere Dairy. The milk comes in reusable and recyclable glass bottles and is available in a variety of flavours including vanilla, banana, strawberry, chocolate and iced coffee.
The products join our existing range of milk and juice drinks available in 1 pint glass bottles, now including Apple and Cranberry Juice. Even better, these pints are all available in returnable glass bottles, so you can return them to Galleon Stores knowing they’ll be put to good use again.

As part of our ongoing pledge to reduce the use of plastic in store, we’re now stocking CanO Water.
CanO Water has been created as an alternative to single use plastic bottles. Resealable and 100% recyclable, it offers a refreshing can of Still or Sparkling Spring Water available in a 330ml can.

We’re adding to our ‘Free From’ and Organic ranges in store, offering you a selection of fresh and tasty products to choose from.
Gluten Free Bakery Items
Our bread supplier Hallett’s The Bakers are now offering Gluten Free bread – choose from their fresh White (£2.99) or Seeded (£3.20) Unsliced Gluten Free Loaf.
We’re also stocking a number of items from Foxcombe Bakehouse’s Gluten Free Range including the Award Winning Tripe Chocolate Brownie, Spiced Farmhouse Crunchies and Original Flapjack.

Mr Organic and Free & Easy
We’re now stocking a number of cupboard staples from the Mr Organic range including Organic Baked Beans, Italian Organic Cherry Tomatoes and Whole Plum Tomatoes.
Latest additions from the Free and Easy Organic range of soups include Butternut Squash & Ginger, Carrot & Coconut and Pea & Mint. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, the soups are also dairy, nut, wheat and gluten free.
