New in: three local cheeses, meals from the Vegable range, potted plants and peat-free compost

We’ve introduced three new local cheeses to our deli counter this month, including Cornish Camembert from Trevarrian Creamery and a St Endellion Mini Cheese and Dorset Blue Vinny from Hawkridge Dairy.

Staying local, new plant-based Vegable meals are made in Newton Abbot and offer natural, quick to cook and full of goodness frozen meals. The Mango Magic Tangy Mango Sauce Puy Lentil Burger (which comes highly recommended by Gary) and Thai Die For Penang Curry with Creamy Coconut Sauce are now stocked in the shop, with other flavours from the range available to order:

  • Butter Me Up Butterbean, Sweet Potato & Spinach Stew
  • Hot Dang Red Pepper, Bean & Aubergine Chilli
  • Cheese Louise Bubble & Squeak Bites with Kale
  • It’s All Gravy Mash & Gravy Bites with Rich Gravy Centre

Also, from next week we will have a variety of potted plants available to buy from the shop, including potted narcissi, violas and other spring bedding.

For your Spring gardening needs, we are also stocking a small number of bags of eco compost from Dalefoot Compost. Made from a blend of sheep’s wool and bracken, this Peat-Free Wool Compost is made wholly in the UK. You can read more about the benefits of peat-free compost here.
