Supporting community facilities and The Galleon 100 Club

The events of the last year and a half have highlighted just how crucial community facilities can be in being able to respond quickly to the needs of local residents in times of struggle. While we have adapted to establish a delivery and collection service which is personal and flexible to customers’ needs, others have provided lunches, offered cooked meals and fetched prescriptions.

As we tentatively approach a ‘new normal’ and promises of more freedom from restrictions, now more than ever we feel the importance of ensuring facilities such as the village shop and Post Office are sustainable for future generations. And that they can adapt and grow with customers’ lives as they have done during the pandemic.

If you agree, please come and talk to us and see how you can play a role. We would love to hear from you. Speak to a member of staff when you’re next in the shop, email garydeare@aol.com or phone 01803 842148.
